Fogher steel outdoor kitchen with a lava stone cooktop, in a garden on Lake Garda

Outdoor

Outdoor kitchens in Brescia and on Lake Garda

Outdoor kitchens in steel and lava stone, gas, pellet and kamado barbecues: the kitchen moves into the garden, designed around your space with Arch. Sergio Besozzi.

Cooking outdoors

A real kitchen, not a barbecue in a corner

On Lake Garda life moves outside from April to October, and the kitchen follows: you cook where you eat, with your guests around you. But an outdoor kitchen is not a barbecue pushed into a corner of the garden. It has a worktop, storage that stands up to rain and sun, and a fire you can control. It should be planned like the kitchen indoors: where it sits, how you move around it, what you actually cook.

For clients in Brescia, Desenzano, Manerba and all around the lake, we design the outdoor kitchen together with the rest of the outdoor space: the dining area, the lounge, the shade. At our showroom in Manerba del Garda you can see materials and finishes up close before you choose.

Types

Three ways to cook outdoors

01

Modular outdoor kitchens

Fogher's Agher and Lares kitchens, made in Bassano del Grappa, are complete kitchens: AISI 304 stainless steel frame, open-fire cooking on Etna lava stone, a worktop, drawers and log storage. They are built from modules, like an indoor kitchen.

02

Compact kitchens

For terraces and gardens where space is tight, Primora by Scenario is a pared-back kitchen: it takes up little room, sits quietly against the house and brings a complete cooking station outside.

03

Gas, pellet and kamado barbecues

The Broil King range covers every way of cooking: gas barbecues with three to six burners, side burner and rotisserie; the Pellet Regal for smoking and slow cooking with digital temperature control; the ceramic kamado for baking, grilling and low-temperature cooking.

Materials

Materials that stay outside all year

An outdoor kitchen works under the August sun, the rain and the humidity of the lake. That is why materials matter: AISI 304 stainless steel, which does not rust; lava stone, which takes the direct heat of the fire; cast-iron grates, which hold and spread the heat; the kamado's ceramic, which keeps the temperature steady for hours. The Agher finishes, from Ossidiana to Salvia Antica, from Seta Materica to Terra di Siena, let you match the kitchen to the house and to the outdoor paving.

How we work

From site visit to finished kitchen

01

Site visit

We look at the space: sun and wind exposure, distance from the house, where gas, water and power can reach. These choices, more than the model, decide whether the kitchen will really be used.

02

Design

With Arch. Sergio Besozzi we define layout, materials and finishes, and connect the kitchen to the dining area and the shade: pergolas, umbrellas, lighting.

03

Choosing in the showroom

In Manerba del Garda you can touch materials and finishes and compare models. Then we handle the order and delivery.

Client questions

Frequently asked questions

A barbecue is for grilling. An outdoor kitchen adds a worktop, storage and more ways of cooking, from open fire to griddle to burner: you can prepare and cook a whole meal without going back and forth to the kitchen indoors.

AISI 304 stainless steel for the frame, lava stone and cast iron for the parts in contact with the fire. Humidity on Lake Garda is constant: avoid materials that rust and choose finishes made to stay outside all year.

It depends on how you cook. Gas barbecues run on a bottle or a mains connection. Pellet grills use no gas but need a power socket. The kamado and open-fire kitchens use charcoal or wood. Water and power are assessed at the site visit.

At the Casa e Giardino showroom in Manerba del Garda (BS), Via Campagnola 8/10. It is worth booking your visit, so that Arch. Besozzi can prepare for your project.
