Cala Club Armchair is an outdoor armchair designed by Doshi Levien for Kettal, characterized by a high and enveloping backrest inspired by the iconic Emmanuelle armchair. The rope weaving creates a lightweight and transparent surface, capable of offering comfort, visual privacy, and a strong scenic impact.
I like it because it creates a sense of protection without closing off the environment. It's an enveloping armchair, yet it remains in dialogue with the landscape and natural light.
